3 tips for sparking inspiration as you develop your learning experience

Here are three exercises you can use to spark inspiration as you begin developing a new learning offering.

1. Create a future story - write down a story of the impact of your learning offering 1 and 5 years from now.

2. Craft your "Big Wins" - Describe what the learning offering could bring for your learners, you and your organization, and the world.

3. Create an inspiration lookbook - pull examples of different offerings from other organizations. These examples can be related to your field or topic, but examples from other arenas are just as much, if not more, valuable. You may uncover delivery methods or activities that have never been used in your field of learning. I like to use Notion, and its Gallery View feature, to organize these so that I have a long wall of inspiration I can go back to and borrow from.

And remember, as important as it is to START with inspiration, it's equally important to maintain a sense of inspiration later in the development cycle of your learning offering.
